During the Webinar on the 18th of January we talked a little about WASH needs of marginalised groups. These included people who sell sex and inject drugs who are often marginalised because their behaviour is illegal or simply that people are judgemental about the "why" of  injecting or selling sex. These factors and many others can contribute to people being denied access to basic WASH needs, being HIV positive can create an additional burden of stigma. The resource included in the background reading documents provides a brief and useful summary of the many types of stigma and discrimination we should be aware of and prevent in our programming. It would be great to hear of any issues that have arisen for forum participants and how they have managed them.
